360 HP TPI Vortec Custom High Performance Series Street and Strip Engine

Our all new Vortec TPI Custom Crate Engine will bring new life to your TPI equipped vehicle. The brand new GM crate engine assembly is fitted with a powerful hydraulic roller camshaft and topped off with our exclusive TPI Vortec Baseplate.

The proven combination produces 357 horsepower and 416 ft/lbs of torque. Requires the use of EGR kit SD3816, headers and 350 injectors.

Dyno tested with Edelbrock runners, 52mm throttle body and 1 7/8” headers.

I purchased this motor in 2006. It has good low/mid acceleration. The lope is very minimal but lets others know there is some HP in there. It bolted right in and hooked up to my factory TPI no prob. in my 1987 IROC-Z.

It was ok but would be great if it was stroked! The motor is easy to install and makes a nice upgrade. I installed it in a 91 camaro

Bought it about 4 years ago and love it. The problem is the valve springs. I have broken 2 but no damage, thank goodness, but am in the process of changing them. I know of at least 3 other who were not so lucky and destroyed this engine. Make sure you change the springs!!
