Moroso Main Bearing Cap Stud Kit. Fits Small Block Chevy, for all OEM 4-bolt main blocks with windage tray. Kit contains 4, 7/16" studs without standoffs, 6, 7/16" studs with standoffs, 6, 7/16" short side studs, 16, 7/16" nuts and washers and 12, 3/8" washer-faced nuts for securing windage tray. On some blocks main caps must be machined down 1/4" or studs backed out 1/4" and loctited.

· Main Bearing Cap Studs are manufactured of the finest aircraft grade chrome moly steel, providing uniform stretch and consistent holding power

· Thread rolling, straightening, centerless grinding and other machine operations are performed after heat treating

· Kits include complete stud assortment, aircraft quality nuts, and precision parallel surface ground and hardened washers that distribute loads evenly to provide accurate torque readings

· Available for both Small and Big Block Chevy, with or without windage tray

· Kits with standoffs provide a fast, easy way to securely mount a windage tray; they are adjustable to properly position the windage tray in relation to the crankshaft

· Includes all necessary fasteners

Note: When using pan with a shallow forward sump area it may be necessary to modify both the windage tray and the studs
