Pre-1980 SB Chevy with 2-piece rear main seal or 980-85 with passenger-side dipstick

This Moroso Sportsman Series Oil Pan is intended for the budget-minded racer. It is built on a stock type core with a kicked-out sump design that allows low engine placement for improved handling. It’s also fully baffled to provide an uninterrupted supply of oil under all racing conditions. Includes features found in top-of-the-line pans like windage trays, crankshaft wipers and slotted pickup tubes.

Fits: GM Metric A-Body for Small Block Street Stocks and Late Models

· Newly designed pan and Louvered Windage Tray increases power, improves oil control and reduces temperature much more efficiently than previous combinations

· Windage Tray is removable to facilitate cleaning

· Kicked-out sump moves oil level away from rotating assembly, increases capacity to 7 quarts and provides additional ground clearnace

· Sump is fully baffled with 5 trap doors to provide uninterrupted oil supply under left-turn-only racing conditions

· Sump tray keeps oil contained in pickup area

· Threaded oil level sight plug built directly into sump

· Fitting provided for oil temperature sender

· Accepts strokes up to 3.800"; works with most strater/flywheel combinations

· Works with most starter-flywheel combinations
