This gold iridite steel 7-quart oil pan is for 1965-later Oldsmobile V8"s in most stock GM chassis without modifications.

Designed for street-performance machines that occasionally see some track time. This oil pan is modified with a Deep Sump with a depth of 8-1/4” for increased capacity that will improve oil control under hard acceleration and run cooler. It is designed for a simple bolt-on installation in production chassis. With a Deep Sump oil pan you will get improved oil control over stock pans because of their increased capacity. Usually deep sumps are specially baffled with a swinging trap door that keeps oil contained in the pickup area to prevent oil starvation under hard acceleration.


· Deep sump increases capacity to 7 quarts, which reduces oil temperature and insures adequate supply to pickup area

· Baffle allows oil to flow "one way" into the pickup area — and keeps it there

· Works with most starter/flywheel combinations
