This painted steel 7-quart oil pan is for 1955-79 Small Block Chevrolet engines with driver-side dipstick, except for 1967-72 Chevy II and V8 Vega/Monza.

Designed for street-performance machines that occasionally see some track time. This oil pan is modified with a Kick-Out Sump with a depth of 8-1/4” for increased capacity that will improve oil control under hard acceleration and run cooler. It is designed for a simple bolt-on installation in production chassis. With a Kick-Out Sump oil pan you will increase your oil capacity without restricting ground clearance or having oil too close to the crankshaft. Usually kick-out sumps are specially baffled with a trap door that provides a constant supply or oil at the pickup area to prevent oil starvation under hard acceleration.


· Kicked-out sump moves oil level away from rotating assembly, increases capacity to 7 quarts, and provides additional ground clearance

· Trap-door baffling allows oil to flow "one way" into the pickup area — and keeps it there

· Works with most starter/flywheel combinations
