This flexplate permits the installation of the higher performance 11.25” 4R70W torque converter behind 4.6L/5.4L with 8-bolt crankshaft.

This torque converter adds about 10% more stall speed and was used in 1993-98 Mark VIII and 1996-98 Mustang GT. This crankshaft was used in 1996-98 Cobra 4.6L 4 valve and some 1996-97 truck 4.6L/5.4L 2 valve engines. Check crankshaft before ordering.
