New from Ford Racing Performance Parts is the 7.5L / 460 “Super Cobra Jet” crate engine. This 460 cu. In. engine produces 550 HP at 6350 RPM and 545 ft./lbs of torque at 4800 RPM using an 850 cfm carburetor and dyno headers (not included)> Features include 10.5:1 compression ratio, Ford Racing “Victor JR.” single plane intake manifold, “Super Cobra Jet” aluminum heads, high performance hydraulic flat tappet camshaft, 460 2-bolt main short block M-6009-D460, oil and water pumps, oil pan, flywheel, and harmonic balancer. This is the perfect high performance engine for bracket race cars, Fox chassis cars, and marine applications.

this engine really runs good.i put it in a 67 mustang coupe tube chassis car that weighs approx.2400 lbs.without driver car runs consistent 6;35 at 107mph in 1/8 mi. w/pg & 4;86 gears.i have approx.60 passes on it & has run perfect every pass.keep it at 6200 rpm & this engine will last a long time.this engine will run way past its rpm limit i dont recommend it select proper gear ratio like i did.i love it & was very impressed with it.
