1995 5.8L F-150/F-250 4X4 with Code E Automatic Transmission Power Module

Hypertech Power Modules are for Ford because of the lack of replaceable chips in their computers. The Power Modules aluminum housing contains a dyno-tuned Power Chip™ that is mounted on a circuit board that easily plugs into the computer’s service port. It electronically disconnects the stock chip and replaces it with the information stored in the Power Chip. Spark timing and fuel delivery are optimized for your engine, point-by-point, over the entire RPM range at full throttle. This is proven to produce the most powerful horsepower and torque curves possible. Ford Power Modules deliver more horsepower, higher torque, faster acceleration, and improved throttle response.

Permits the use of a low-temperature thermostat for cooler, denser intake charge and lower engine operating temperature resulting in faster acceleration. Can raise the vehicle’s top speed to match the speed rating of tires. And will deliver firmer, full-throttle gear changes.
