2001-04 Full Size Pick-Up 6.6L Duramax

PowerMax® Power Tuner™ provides optimum tuning for the stock camshaft, plus three new PowerMax® cam profiles, and can deliver up to 30 extra rear wheel horsepower from a stock engine.

Crane’s new Power Tuner™ provides 30-plus tuning parameters, and can be used to alternately tune for optimum performance, best fuel economy, max pulling power —or return it to stock. It also can set optimum shift points for automatic transmissions. Other benefits include compensating for different tire sizes, rear end gears, and being able to change the computer’s speed limiter.

The easy-to-use device features plug-n-go hook-up, and takes only minutes to reprogram the ECU using Power Tuner’s push-button keypad. No laptop computer is required! There is no limit to the number of times it can be used, but it is VIN-locked to one vehicle only.

Other tuning benefits include the ability to make finite adjustments to the spark advance (± 10%) from selected program curve and adjust for any grade of fuel (low, middle or high octane). Should a lower grade of fuel be accidentally used, Power Tuner™ will make an automatic adjustment. It reads diagnostic trouble codes and provides an easy “clear code” function.
