The Street/Race Electronic Distributor is versatile, accurate and rugged. It is ideally suited for a multitude of applications, including drag and circle track racing, off-road (2x4 and 4x4 trucks) and street use.

Important technical features include a unique optical triggering system, the ability to dial-select from 27 different mechanical/vacuum advance curves, and a timing accuracy of ± one-half degree at all RPM levels (nearly equal to that of a crank trigger system). The housing is precision CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum billet, has a composite lower bearing and comes with a steel gear that’s compatible with any type camshaft (cast or billet core). Components are urethane sealed for protection from dirt, vibration and moisture, further assuring maintenance-free service. It comes with a standard mag trigger plug and is compatible with most Crane HI-6 and other popular aftermarket magnetic trigger ignitions.

With the addition of the new Street/Race Electronic Distributor, Crane Cams’ FireBall™ ignition products line is now complete. The award-winning distributor, fully-digital multi-spark ignitions, high output E-core coils, and the industry’s lowest resitance wire (just 25 Ohms!) provide performance enthusiasts with the most advanced and efficient total ignition system on the market.
