If you need a GM short block for all-out performance send it to our machine shop for balancing and blueprinting. Each short block will be completely disassembled, have the rotating assembly balanced, all clearances checked, zero deck the block, torque-plate hone the cylinder walls, and reassemble the short block using Clevite 77 main and rod bearings.
