620 horsepower from a 572 ci short block. The new ZZ572/620 is built around an all new Gen VI tall deck Bow Tie cylinder block. This all new race block is filled with a forged 4340 steel 4.375 in stroke crankshaft, 4340 steel H-beam rods, and forged aluminum pistons with full floating wrist pins. Plasma moly piston rings are standard as is the screened and louvered windage tray. Hard core race parts for hard core performance and long term reliability.

This assembled Short Block 572 Crate Engine is complete with all the block components. It does not include water pump, carburetor, distributor, intake manifold, spark plug wires, camshaft, cylinder heads, oil pan, balancer and flexplate.
