720 horsepower from a 572 ci crate engine. Built by GM Performance Parts and GM Racing exclusively for sportsman racers, the new ZZ572 / 720R is built around an all new Gen VI tall deck Bow Tie cylinder block. This all new race block is filled with a forged 4340 steel 4.375 in stroke crankshaft, 4340 steel H-beam rods, and forged aluminum pistons with full floating wrist pins. Plasma moly piston rings are standard as is the screened and louvered windage tray. GM"s first purpose built drag race engine is filled with hard core race parts for hard core performance and long term reliability.
This turn key engine package includes a single plane intake manifold, 1095cfm King Demon carburetor, HEI ignition with plugs and wires, aluminum short style water pump, harmonic balancer and a flexplate.

This is the one of top five sicks create motors I have ever owned and ran in my 1969 chevelle that will run a flat 9 sec. It's a bad bitch.

in a 3000lbs 69 camaro with 180 straight cut powerglide trans and 5.38 rear end gear ran 5.96 at 114.oomph in a 8th mile not bad straight out of the box!
