Shipped with a fully assembled short block and a pair of assembled aluminum big valve oval port heads. The premium kit contains everthing you need to build a complete 502/502 engine. From carburetor to starter, and distributor to spark plugs you have all the necessary components to build a pavement pounding 502 horsepower big block.

Note; the GM oil pan will not clear the Camaro or Chevelle chassis, SDPC offers several different oil pan kits to fit your particular application. A different oil pan can be installed at our facility prior to shipping for a small additional charge.

I put the ZZ 502 motor in a 55 Chevy coupe - W/a 700-R4 level 3 trans - This car is a beast of a street car to say the least - explosive torque right off of idle - runs better than perfect but does require a good cooling system.
