Drag chutes only understand two things: weight and speed. Body styles don’t even enter the equation. To find out exactly how much stopping power you need factor in you information into this equation and just accordingly on the chute that best fits your needs. Remember this is only a guide.

((Weight of car, in pounds) X (Speed, in mph)) ÷ 1,000

For example: (1,600 X 150) ÷ 1,000 = 240
