Flowtech LS1 long tube headers are built with 18 gauge 1-3/4” primary tubes that improve the engine ability to breathe over the stock manifolds.
Flowtech headers comes finished with a baked on high heat resistant black paint or for a show look or with Hookers popular Metallic Ceramic Thermal Barrier Coating. This coating provides improved thermal stability reducing the possibility of header cracking. The high luster finish is rust resistant and acts as an insulator resulting in higher exhaust temperatures within the system to increase performance while lowering the under-hood temperatures.
