MSD Bronze Distributor Gears are machined from quality AMPCO 45 aluminum bronze containing 5% nickel. This special material creates high strength hear teeth that are less prone to wear when used with high volume oil pumps. When building a high performance engine specifically for racing, a high strength MSD gear should be used.
