Based off the GM Goodwrench 350 short block, these crate engines are loaded with cast-aluminum pistons and precision-machined crankshafts. Combined with Performer 70cc aluminum heads they have 8.5:1 compression ratio’s to work great on low-octane fuel. Their camshafts are matched to the compression ratio, manifold and carburetor for a smooth performance from idle to 5500 rpm. They have the option of coming in a natural (as-cast) or polished finish. The polished option includes intake manifold, cylinder heads, and water pump (where applicable). The crate they are delivered in can be kept and reused or returned to Edelbrock for money back.
